The Nook is a hidden treasure at the rear of a private home in a quiet street. It is a very spacious and newly furnished room with a fabulous new bathroom. It has a well equipped kitchenette and the washing machine is a real bonus for travellers on a long trip. We were welcomed with a lovely handwritten greeting from the host's granddaughter and fresh flowers in our room. The TV is a great size and has Netflix. Although breakfast is not mentioned as being included, we were provided with fresh sourdough bread, butter, jam and tea and coffee. Fresh milk is also provided. This is probably one of the best B&B's we have stayed in during our four weeks in Ireland.

We had a bedroom with hall bath in this charming 200+ year old house. The bath is all new and spotless. There is a kettle and coffee/tea things, along with snacks. There were no other guests and the owner, Eddie, and his delightful pets were nearby. We're parked inside the gate in front and walked around back to get to our room, which opened to a big deck overlooking the back garden and river. We spent time on the deck reading, having coffee and listening to the rippling water. Easy walk to pubs and shops, and the loch-side walkway for longer strolls.

Rostrevor is a must for anyone visiting Ireland......it is a magical village set against the backdrop of the Mourne Mountains and on the shores of beautiful Carlingford Lough. It is so peaceful and idyllic and offers a perfect mix of tradition, culinary delights, talented artists and good craic! As the song goes......"if you ever go across the sea to Ireland"......make sure you visit Rostrevor

Rostrevor is tucked into the base of the Mourne Mountains and the mountain never leaves you...Behind each roof top is a lovely green mountain framing your experience and calling to you to come back. You can walk everywhere and get right up onto the mountain right away. The food is fresh and coastal and moderately priced. The Folk Music is some of the best I've found anywhere.

Disappointed by the room while the Pub and the restaurant belonging the same owner were really nice and need to be really considered for a stop in Rostrevor. The room (number 1) is really small and located in the ground floor with direct window to the street. Honestly we had the impression to sleep in the street due to the isolation so it was not very nice. Nevertheless as said we have spent a really nice moment in the pub and we have eaten very well at the restaurant

Arrived at a lovely welcome, our hosts were a really nice family, and our breakfast was delicious. Had a really nice time in beautiful Rostrevor. Art galleries, walks on the beach and forest and parks. Enjoyed a half of Guinness and a Mourne Dew Gin and Tonic. Also, had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants.
