Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station...
Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station which was 5minutes away. No buses to the Heligan gardens on a Sunday so had to take taxis. The best places to visit were Mevagissey and Charlestown, they both had an old world charm. St Austell town centre is dated and needs some TLC , but...
St Austell town centre is dated and needs some TLC , but around the ring round is everything you need to make your stay great. Big Asda, lots of resteraunts, and the usual chains. There is some amazing beaches, countryside, walks in and around St Austell. And , it's a brilliant base for all things Cornwall, very well connected. Carlyon and Petewan beaches are fantastic. The bathroom suite was clean and well presented, but a little dated. Same goes for the bedroom, but overall, the experience was good. The main thing was the floors were all uneven, for example there was no gap at the left side of the room's door, but on the right side was a 2 inch gap under the door.
