Bel and the Dragon is an absolute gem. Room warm and comfortable with all amenities (including complimentary whisky and sloe gin). Bar downstairs is a series of smaller rooms each with open fire . . . absolutely perfect atmosphere. Good choice of food and beverage. 15 mins max walk from station, opposite the Stanley Spencer gallery, a few minutes walk to Thames and central to all Cookham amenities. All staff warm and friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast included. Highly recommend for a delightful experience.

It's a beautiful accommodation. Very comfortable room, nice pool area, lovely garden, good restaurant, and very friendly staff. It helped it was 30 degrees so the pool was really good for that.
