It’s quite close to Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Southwold, and quite a few very nice villages, and a great area nearby for bird watching. Thorpeness is also a good place for a visit. this lovely little village is only a 10 minute drive from...
this lovely little village is only a 10 minute drive from Aldeburgh, which makes it perfect to stay for the night! After 2300 the whole village goes to sleep and it is lovely and silent! there are a few little shops and plenty of car parking! The food in the restaurant of the Bell hotel is divine!! Room was well sized, well equipped, very comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly I stayed during a particularly hot spell of weather and the rooms do not have aircon - however the hotel provided a good quality fan which was very helpful and meant that my stay was still comfortable.
