Other than the magnificent abbey there are few obvious sites in Selby and it seemed to have few attractive places to eat. It is a pleasant town to walk around and there are good views from the bridge over the River Ouse. Selby is a nice town with a mix of amenities, there are historical places to visit and they have a gym, bowling and a canal which is very nice to walk beside.
