We were there for a few days and took out a day to stop and rest because we'd been travelling a while, it was raining and the place where we stayed was really comfortable. Skeabost is a short drive to Portree, which can get very busy, but Skeabost is really quiet so nicely tucked away, yet within easy reach of key attractions.Guest review byMeredithAustralia - 8.0

The Skeabost Inn was our favorite for food. As with all of Skye, be sure to book ahead for meals. For our first night, we could not book a meal anywhere, even takeaway. Lovely bungalow, built by the host.
Lovely bungalow, built by the host. Rural location with lovely views down to the loch. Local wildlife, isolation. The room was very clean and tidy, breakfast was very nice - cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast. Great hosts, Hamish and Josephine made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The town of Portree was 15 mins away by car. Nice eateries in the area and the Isle of Skye is stunning. Would thoroughly recommend this property.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom
