Lovely welcome to this out of the way lodge. Our room was spacious but cosy and comfortable. We had a light meal in the evening which was delicious and breakfast was of the same quality. I would highly recommend driving a little out of the way to stay here.

On the banks of the River Thurso in the village of Halkirk, this hotel is a 10-minute drive from Thurso town centre. It is built from Caithness stone, and has free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

Everything was great. The pod was super clean and cosy. Views were beautiful. the hot tub was amazing!! The kitchen had everything , towels were soft, bed was super comfortable. Temperature was great once we turned on the fire and stayed warm.
