The the property was 200m from Stains bus station. I got a bus from Heathrow T5 straight to bus station. I then got a bus straight to Thorpe Park. £3 each trip. The property was clean and overlooking the River Thames. Check in was quick and easy. The room contained a double and single bed, beds and pillows both comfortable. Breakfast was nice with the option of full English or eggs off the menu. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

    Staines, like most towns in the UK is suffering from decline of the traditional high street. This is mainly due to out of town shopping centres and large supermarkets. Very good market in the high street on a Saturday.

    Staines was close to the attractions we wished to visit (Legoland and Chessington) and had a range of takeaways, restaurants and shops near to our accommodation. Parking was available locally and it made a good base for travel.

    Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow.

    Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow. It was a good base for a 2 day visit to Windsor & then Twickenham. Trains run regularly to both. Town was well facilitated with shops, food outlets both major and independent businesses

    Lovely location near the river Thames which was nice to walk by in the morning and evenings. Good local area with shops and restaurants and the train station goes straight into London. Really easy to access nearby transport links and Heathrow airport too.

    We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we...

    We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we were visiting the castle. The view of the river Thames from our hotel (The Swan) was lovely. It was interesting to watch so many different boats, kayaks and barges passing by. We went for a short walk around the hotel and everything looked clean and very serene.

    The apartment is exactly as pictured, modern, bright, and spacious. It is in a quiet area and very secure, including secure on-site parking. The location is excellent, literally 2 minutes' walk to the train station from where one can be in central London in just over 30 minutes. Very detailed and helpful instructions on how to check in and out and how various appliances work - some with short videos. The host was also very responsive.

    The Swan Hotel is magnificent. The rooms are cozy, well-decorated, and clean. Every day we had cookies, coffee, pods, and tea. The rooms overlooking the river are wonderful. Great breakfast, both continental and English. We dined at the restaurant and stayed the pub – everything was excellent: the food, the beer, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very kind, professional, and helpful.

    Lovely spacious rooms in a good location. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. However the name on Booking.com is not the name on the building so we drove around for 30 minutes looking for the hotel, it is actually called Thames Lodge. The food and drink was also pricey but we are from Yorkshire and are aware the further south you go the dearer things become

    Great breakfast options and time frame. Food first class. We've stayed at the Boelyn several times now and had the most recent room before. Ideal and spacious. The hotel location is close but not on top of both Heathrow and the M25, so handy in many ways. Close to many attractions including the Thames for river cruises and of course Windsor.
