The location of the cottage is very secluded down a very...
The location of the cottage is very secluded down a very narrow road and to the farmhouse. Directions were left by the host who gave information about the final 80 yard track to the cottage and possible difficulty getting up the short hill if very wet weather with alternative parking should we chose. It was wet for a few days so this was good advice. 1/2 mile away are 2 nice pubs, the kings head serves excellent food at reasonable prices and is about 3/4 mile from the cottage but a nice walk. The smaller roads in the area are not great with lots of potholes so care needs taking when driving but not all locals conform to driving safely in their large 4x4’s but that’s life everywhere.
