Lovely market but make sure it is open when you are visiting, some shops are closed on Monday. Lots of interesting places to visit in and around the town. All is good in Devon and Cornwall to suit many tastes providing the weather is good, like anywhere. As the area gets very crowded at the peak holiday times, expect many delays if driving to popular spots, plus expect many very narrow roads to those areas and respect the farmers who are working with now large machinery and not on holiday or site seeing !!!!?.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Tavistock is a beautiful town.
Tavistock is a beautiful town. Steeped in history with a river walk. Drakes cycle/walk trail and the infamous pannier market. There are many places to eat and lovely shops.
