The secluded location and secure courtyard were lovely, with the proximity to the beach being fantastic. The lovely little touches that I wasn't expecting: porridge, treats, lots of hot drinks available, the menus for local eateries and being trusted to be left to my own devices. A truly great experience.

Location(could easily walk to sights/activities), but was in a relatively quiet area. Found the property to be fresh and clean. We chose a small room as it suited our needs but were surprised how it was so well organized and appointed. In addition to a fridge, there were some plates, glasses and cutlery as well as coffee and tea. Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. We even received a thank you card from the staff. Nice touch. My spouse was awake early so went to lobby. Although no coffee there, they got him one.

We have family on the Wirral and wanted a base from which to visit Liverpool. We also visited Port Sunlight on this trip, but have explored the Wirral and Crosby/Formby areas before. Wirral in general is lovely to visit with good walks and nice beaches. There are also plenty of good places to eat, in addition to plenty of public transport.

Our trip was to play golf for three days in Cheshire and on the Wirral, so didn't see much else in the area to be able to comment further on the area generally. The apartment was an ideal location for golf courses on the Wirral, and suited our needs perfectly.

Wallasey is my birth & childhood town so holds good memories...

Wallasey is my birth & childhood town so holds good memories. Like most modern day towns its shops have declined in Liscard the once larger shopping area & closed due I suppose to on line shopping but there are several large supermarkets locally albeit requiring a car. There are smaller convenience stores dotted about. New Brighton has been revamped & houses many cafes, restaurant's & bars, we had an evening meal in the seahorse which was great value & decent pub food. The waiting room cafe on Victoria Road also to be recommended for snacks or breakfast. New Brighton still has the boating lake, vast promenade & parks & open areas. The town also has lots of take aways. My granddaughter enjoyed visiting all the mermaid statues dotted about. You can take a ‘Ferry across the Mersey’ from Seacombe from 10am-4pm approx £12 via a river cruise or outwith this time straight across with commuters. Regular bus service operates to wider areas. Accommodation is quite limited with only one Travelodge in Wallasey , in New Brighton & limited guest houses. The area feels safe enough although I wasn’t out at night. There appears to be a lot of regeneration with modern newly built housing & flats. Traffic & residential parking is heavy at times & although most roads now restricted to 20mph some traffic remains fast especially along the promenade. I think Wallasey still has a lot to offer & with New Brighton & good commuter links to Liverpool is a better more affordable option.

We came for a show in New Brighton, we stayed 2 nights & enjoyed it apart from the place where we'd originally booked as it was filthy. We had to book alternative accommodation as it was unlivable.

    What I'm used to really.

What I'm used to really. It's a small town on the outskirts of a big city. Just what you would expect. Nice little park across the road from where we stayed which we could walk through to get to the docks. Lovely little micro pub called The Drunken Landlord.

    It was filthy.

It was filthy. Not the odd thing missed as there were cobwebs. Dirty oven, microwave and sofa heavily stained. I’ve date stamped photos to prove the state of the property. No lightbulb in the landing so it was also unsafe. Outside bins overflowing! Bath hadn’t been cleaned and we won’t even talk about the toilet! The property is not maintained they just take money without caring about the state it’s let out in. I’m a landlord myself and they just give us a bad name.

My word, you will not find a comfier bed. The power shower is extraordinary, I didnt want to get out. The staff are so wonderfully nice. No need for an alarm, you can smell breakfast being cooked to perfection. If you find this hotel is an option then it is an option you should pick immediately. Free secure parking to the rear. You are also over the road from the Mersey Ferry offering trips to Liverpool within minutes. May I suggest the stadium tour at Evertons new ground, magnificent to behold.

Lovely little annexe at the back of the house. Perfect size for our one night stay. Very comfortable, thoughtful extras added and the most perfect location for scenic walks. Our hosts Dawn and Steve were excellent, made us feel so welcome. We parked our car sat morning next to house and didn't use again till we went home. Had breakfast at Driftwood cafe (definitely recommend), got a bus into Liverpool, great value and soo much easier.

We travelled up as a family and we stayed here for 1 night why we were visiting family for a birthday. Was a little nervous booking as we have only ever booked hotel rooms. However this was fabulous everything was so smooth, everything was as described and the host couldn’t have done enough to give us all the information we need and a contact number if we needed. The stay was perfect

The place was perfect for me and my son to stay whilst we went to Anfield for the football. Beds really comfy and having the outside space was nice. Bakery next door is lovely and the Indian down the road was great. Only a 10 min walk to the beach and the train station with a 20 minute train to Liverpool.
