This is a really interesting and quirky area that reminded us of parts of London, with lots of great independent traders nestling along mainstream nationals such as Greggs. There are plenty of places to eat, with a good range of choices. We didn't get to the original 30s style cinema but what an amazing landmark it is. Waterloo is a really interesting place.
Waterloo is a really interesting place. There’s the brilliant Anthony Gormleys Another Place on Crosby beach. Lots of interesting independent shops and bars and the great independent cinema. An area out of the city centre of Liverpool but still well equipped with plenty of places to eat out. Nice beaches and an area running in lower gear than the city centre.
