The town centre is typical seaside, catering for most needs.
The town centre is typical seaside, catering for most needs. The usual shops are there. The beach is not at all good, particularly at low tide. The sea is some way out requiring great care traversing mainly mud - not sand. Indeed, there are notices on the beach advising visitors to stay off the beach at low tide. Weston has something very everyone.
Weston has something very everyone. Great beach, lovely flat front for walking , good public transport. Great range of pubs, bars and restaurants to suit every budget. very interesting FREE museumwith a lovely cafe. First time in Weston Super Mare for a Groove Village festival and loved it! Will certainly be back. The beach is gorgeous. Great eating facilities. Had breakfast in The Green House and then next day in the Brunello Lounge. Both were superb. Had a fantastic roast dinner at the Waterfront restaurant. BUT staff were brilliantly helpful even though I arrived at nearly midnight. Room clean and well equipped, bed comfortable, everything worked. Breakfast excellent and cooked to order, including toast.
