A buzzing touristy town with plenty of things to do and keep you interested, The council do a really good job keeping it clean and tidy. The waterfront is a wonderful sight and gives a good long bracing walk.

Weymouth has been in our hearts for many years.

Weymouth has been in our hearts for many years. This recent visit however has shown that it has become quite run down through out the town . Beach still amazing 50p to use the toilet is awful. £9 to park for day extortionate

Lovey beach. Interesting harbour area.

Lovey beach. Interesting harbour area. Variety of restaurants. Lots to see and do I the area even for those with mobility issues. Particularly liked the Water Garden. Had a Monet bridge and lovely cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Little train around Town Centre was great for sight seeing.

We have visited Weymouth many times over the years - it is a wonderful seaside town with many fine facilities. The beach is second to none, and the sea is clean and shallow. For families with children it is a great choice, but then it's a great choice for people of all ages.

Visit for a weekend and stay on the peninsula over the bridge for the old fishing village charm. Around the old harbour good evening hang outs. Walk to Nothe castle and admire the old town winding alleys. If you go when the weather is fine you will enjoy clear sea water swimming. The main town shopping area typical of seaside towns, a bit run down. If you enjoy golfing Lodmoor park. Good for a family weekend or a romantic weekend. If you are looking for action, take your cycles with you.

A good centre for either a beach holiday or for visiting the surrounding area. There is plenty of historical interest in the town particularly if you are interested in railways. The surrounding area provides good walking of the coastal path and the Downs. The Isle of Portland is particularly interesting, but visit more than just the lighthouse!

can’t say enough good things. Nick and Caroline were so lovely and so accommodating and kind. was my first solo trip in years and they made it feel like I was staying with family. the property is charming and comfortable and a great location for Weymouth. Nick gave me some great tips for local attractions and was a great help with parking too. Don’t hesitate!!!

Breakfast was outstanding. I’ve stayed in many hotels but the food in all of them did not compare with the View on the Terrace. Ali is an outstanding chef and a lovely person Bill was always pleasant and friendly, very nice chap and very knowledgeable of Weymouth and the surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble

The hotel was very clean and tidy and the staff were very happy and polite with a warm welcome. Our room was on the top floor which we had been advised about before hand it was very clean and tidy with excellent views over Weymouth Bay.

The hotel did accept our dog staying at minimal extra cost. The location, on Weymouth seafront, was great.
