Fantastic walk to the Lighthouse.
Fantastic walk to the Lighthouse. Excellent Train connections. Friendly locals, good local shops including a great Bakery, good Butcher, lots of cafes and a well stocked spar. We really enjoyed our stay and used the trains to visit many tourist attractions.Guest review byAnnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Whitehead is 20 minutes walk along the Blackhead Coastal Path. The seafront is the most picturesque part of the town. There is a nice bakery just over the bridge on your right as you enter the town. Opposite the baker there is a butcher. There is a railway station with trains to Larne and Belfast. The accommodation was great, nice apartment very handy for beach and train station. Very quiet area and Whitehead is a great starting point for travel up the coast to Giants Causeway, South to Belfast and the Titanic centre or cross country to Lough Neigh.
