The apartment was gorgeous. It was super clean, with very comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor space to enjoy. It was in a very quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. 😀

The Sheep and Penguin is a brilliant, newly refurbished little inn. We had the pleasure of staying a couple of nights there. It's a great base to explore Wells and the wider Somerset region from. Excellent customer service from all of the staff, especially the manager Dan who made us feel completely welcome and gave us some excellent local recommendations. The pub downstairs is fantastic and the food was top notch. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a very comfy bed! We would highly recommend that everyone visiting Wells or Somerset should stay here!

What a gorgeous little town. Exceptional room that was so comfy I didn't want to leave. Cute fireplace, comfortable bed, windows looking out on the town, and the best bath. Lot of thought and care in this place and the upkeep of it. If you don't feel like eating all meals at their restaurant downstairs, highly recommend the Indian place Table 8 next door.

Loved this quaint village.

Loved this quaint village. Beautiful church... quirky hotel with witch hat as a turret. Great breakfast in there. Its really spiritual with a morning mist over the trees and lovely feel with a stream running through it.

Not a lot to do in Woolley hole but a trip to the caves is well worth it. Plenty to see and the trip down the cave is very interesting. Only 1 pub and it’s very much pub food and not a very high quality pub but the food was ok.
