We had an upgrade with Genius on Booking.com so stayed in the King size with sea view for the price of a standard double. This was midweek in December. The room was enormous with a superb view. Warm and cosy on a cold winter night. Good WiFi. Clean. Only a few rooms were occupied. Breakfast was cereals, juice, then freshly cooked Full English. All good. We often visit family in Weston and I definitely think we will go back to the York. Apart from the fantastic room upgrade, it was clean, warm, friendly staff, great breakfast.

    You feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, even though...

    You feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, even though you are only a 10 minute drive into Weston Super Mare, a 5 minute drive to a large supermarket, pubs, restaurants and fast food places, and only 10 minutes to access the M5. No issues with satnav, unlike in many areas that can lead you the wrong way through country lanes. A beautiful drive through very picturesque countryside to reach the accommodation.
