Our experience at Petra Nera Hotel in Skiathos was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and taken care of. The service is excellent and available 24/7, which made us feel supported at all times. The hotel facilities are top-notch: everything is brand new, spotless, and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, with super comfortable beds and every detail designed for the guest’s comfort. For a new hotel, it’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing—everything runs smoothly with professionalism, warmth, and great attention to detail. We got engaged during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to make it even more special. They surprised us with thoughtful gestures and little touches that made this important moment in our lives truly unforgettable. A special shout-out to Micaela at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and kind. She made a reservation for us at a beautiful restaurant and also arranged tours so we could explore the island, which made a big difference in our experience. We 100% recommend Petra Nera and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our vacation truly unforgettable!

Well, I have to say, this is the first time I've left a hotel with absolutely nothing to complain about. From start to finish, everything about my experience was perfect. The hotel has a cozy, boutique-style ambiance. I was lucky enough to stay in a corner room with a mountain view, but thanks to the wraparound terrace (complete with a private hot tub!), I also had a bonus sea view! The room itself was a perfect blend of cozy and modern, beautifully designed, bright, and impeccably clean. Kudos to the cleaning staff! I appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room: various lighting options, stylish and comfortable furniture, an open-style bathroom, an unusually spacious lavatory, multiple power sockets just where you need them, etc. - someone had put a lot of thought into the room’s design. I was pleasantly surprised to find high-quality local toiletries in the bathroom, and everything looked brand new and fresh, without the usual wear and tear found in other places. The room truly felt like a suite, as others have already mentioned in their reviews. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive - I haven’t felt so well taken care of as a guest in some time:). Breakfast each morning was excellent, high quality, and delicious taste, all served by the friendly staff who were always there to greet you. The location was ideal for me, just a short walk to Skiathos Town, with the nearest shops and tavernas only a few steps away. The closest beach was literally across the street. The bus stop right in front of the building provided easy access to the town and other popular beaches (the public transportation system in Skiathos is great, by the way!). There’s also free parking for guests, and the staff are happy to assist with car rentals if needed. While the hotel might seem a bit expensive at first glance, it is definitely worth every penny. The hotel pleasantly exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to others.

Nice view, modern furniture and equipment, there was everything you may need from the iron to wine opener. There was always someone at the reception ready to fulfill our needs and especially lady Eleni was really nice. She ket us for early check-in and we could also stay by the pool after check-out. We would definitely come back.

Our room was in a perfect position right by the pool, very peaceful. Maybe not for everyone but we never felt overlooked or lacking privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic, the two big asks for any hotel stay. The room was spacious and well equipped, perfect min every way. All of the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, so friendly every single day, from George on reception, Nikos and Nik on the bar and the lovely waitresses in the restaurant, cannot fault them. They were all amazing and a credit to the place. Location was perfect, a minute to the beach with lovely tavernas to choose from and a short stroll into town. A perfect week, and would 100% recommend.

    This is a lovely, fairly quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. There are plenty of bars if you need them and very good bus services if you want to go further afield. The beaches are wonderful and everyone was super helpful and friendly.

    A beautiful part of Skiathos. numerous tavernas and bars close by, but not noisy at night. The bus from stop 16 only takes about 20 minutes into Skiathos town. Despite all the socializing spots it doesn't feel too touristy. I can see why it is referred to as 'The Boomerang Island!'

    A vibrant little town ideally situated midway along the islands coastal road. The best selection of bars and tavernas outside of skiathos town. Plenty of accomodation from posh hotels to small apartments. Lovely beach and the place never feels crowded .

    There are very good restaurants in the locality. We visited Kohyli Taverna, Pork n´ Roll, Taverna Maistrali, Taverna Avli and Infinity Blue Restaurant (totally recommend that one, great cuisine and beatiful view, but reservation is needed). The other restaurants we visited we can recommend as well. Beach is nice and clean. Easy bus connection to the city and to the most beatiful beach as well, the area is on bus stop 16. There are also some small shops with basic groceries and some souvenirs.

    It is located in the middle of the island, which makes it a strategic place to visit different beaches, and at the same time it is about ten minutes from the center by bus. One of the nice beaches on the island is right there. There are restaurants, shops and bars on site.

    The restaurants are amazing with very fair prices. Very close to each other and a supermarket in-between them. Beach is a few minutes walk from the main road. I honestly don't recommend renting a car or bike unless you really want to, the local bus takes you across the whole island for 2euros per person and you can catch it every 15-20minutes so it's extremely convenient.

    Great location , near the beach with good choice of tavernas within easy walking distance. Pool area was lovely with good quality loungers and never over crowded. 2 minute walk to bus stop 16 so easy access to Skiathos town . Margarita the manager was lovely and really helpful. Beds were a little hard but comfortable enough . Breakfast was great with yogurt , fruit, cereal ,bacon, sausage, cold meats , cheese , salad bread etc .

    The size of the property exceeded our expectations. As a mixed family group, we were able to retain an element of privacy. Ira and Helena are extremely helpful & accommodating. The location is perfect & within walking distance of a range of tavernas, the beach and bus stop left to Skiathos town, right to Koukounaries.

    The owner and staff were very kind, the room was well equiped and clean, it was cleaned daily. We had parking space too. The bus stop and the supermarket were close. The beautiful and sandy Agia Paraskevi beach was just 200m away from us. We were also satisfied with Villa Maraki's swimming pool.
