It was my first time in Dedeağaç and the trip lasted only four days. It felt more like an exploration than a vacation. I think 5–6 days would be ideal next time. One thing to be aware of: crossing the Greek border from Turkey can be extremely slow, with wait times reaching two to five hours. It’s worth planning accordingly to avoid frustration. Near to a beach-bar and Alexandroupolis where you`ll find way too many taverns to enjoy Greek (or any other) food .
