Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. We did not know there was a kayak company on site so we had pre-booked with Trekking Hellas so had to drive North to the start but it was a lovely trip with double kayaks.Guest review byDuffettSouth Africa - 10.0

Stegna beach is fantastic..not ruined by too much development,, sweet bustling little seaside holiday village.. Fantastic restaurants/tavernas/bars Numerous mini supermarket for all your basic needs,,including beach equipment of every kind.. Notwithstanding the 15 minute walk from our accommodation to the town centre, we really enjoyed our time in Archangelos. I would recommend for people that like staying in a very Greek town and preferably to those who are hiring a car, should they wish to visit beaches. A lovely clean and modern house, well-equipped, with a large garden with lots of seating areas, and a barbecue, and wonderfully welcoming owners. Quietly situated in a rural position amongst olive groves, yet only five minutes from the main east coast road, so an excellent base for exploring. Nearby Stegma and Charaki were both lovely, low key with a few tavernas, and the interior of the island offers interesting towns and quiet roads. Rhodes Old Town is a must see, as is Lindos, although very crowded - go early! A trip to beautiful Symi via ferry from Rhodes Town is highly recommended.Guest review bydjt14United Kingdom

The hotel is very clean, with daily housekeeping. They provide beach towels, which is a nice touch. As a welcome gift, you receive wine, fruits, and water. The owner, Antonio, is very friendly and always ready to help. We booked a room with a terrace, and the view was simply incredible.
