The host is a very friendly person. He even wrote some warm wishes in our own language that made us surprised and happy. He explained everything in detail. Gave many useful information. Great location for tavernas, (lots of them just a very short walk across the road), Terreza pizza best chips in town! lovely pizza too! Bakery, supermarket, ferries, (noisy sometimes, didn’t really spoil anything, just making people aware, it’s main port for freight, as well as foot passengers, cyclists on island hopping tours. The marina is full of nice yachts, sailing boats. Beach is pebbles. Balcony with sea views, patio balcony to rear Mountain View’s, south facing so plenty of sunshine, if it got too hot, went to front balcony in shade, watch the world go by. Ithaca is one of the nearby islands you can see from the port of Sami, you can get a lovely day tour to Ithaca from Sami on a mini bus, we went with Avgerinos, office in Sami on sea front, lovely people.

Stunning view, great location and very welcoming and friendly hosts! The unit we stayed in was modern, very clean and well equipped and we loved the pool! We absolutely loved our time here - wished we could have stayed for longer! Highly recommended!

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm.

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm. Great restaurants and lovely beach for snorkelling on the way to Paradise Restaurant. Sea crystal clear and warm. We visited here 34 years ago and yes it has changed but not too much and did not disappoint. Could have stayed for months! The locals were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

    I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

    Ayia Evfimia is a small port town.

    Ayia Evfimia is a small port town. It has some lovely little beaches which offer good snorkelling. The bars and restaurants are good quality and the people very friendly. It was pleasant to walk along the sea front in the evenings. It's a good base to visit other beaches and towns (you need a car). I managed to find a quiet road to run in the early morning, but it's all uphill!

    Wonderfully furnished property, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. Offers peace and comfort away from crowded places. Almost daily we visited the nearby traditional tavernas, offering delicious, local cuisine. Probably is good to be with own or rented car in order to be more flexible in transport over the island.

    We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also...

    We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also Antisamos beach. What we did not lile was the neighborhood since it was too quiet at night. Next time we would prefer somewhere in Fiskardo, Argostoli or around Argostoli.

    Lovely little resort. Just what we were looking for. Small and fairly quiet but lots of lovely restaurants and a few bars. Not too busy. Perfect for us. The only down side was the nearest beaches were very small and not really great. We had to go into Sami twice to find a good beach with sunbeds.

    We Will Be Back Soon! This place is the icing on the cake of Agia Efimia. From the moment we arrived we were warmly and genuinely welcomed; nothing was too much trouble to ask. Our room was spotless, equipped with everything we could need and the bed was super comfortable. We have already booked to stay again. We can't recommend this fantastic accommodation enough! We honestly feel so lucky to have found it. BRILLIANT.

    Ayia Evfimia is a nice village located by the sea in a convenient spot to explore the entire island of Kefalonia. The studio was clean, well equipped and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, mirrored windows. The place is located just few minutes’ walk to the village center. Maria is super kind and cared for every request we had. Couldn't recommend enough!

    We really enjoyed our stay. We received a warm welcome from Anthony, Alexis’ brother. The location is excellent, with great sea view and just steps away from all the local restaurants and supermarkets. The interior is simple, but has everything you need and everything is very clean. Agia Effimia is also a great base for exploring the rest of Kefalonia.

    Our first stay in Kefalonia and exceeded expectations. Ayia Efimia is a lovely place to stay. The owners of Fortini Apartments were great and very welcoming. Cats were so cute and had the best time! Hill to the apartments was steep but definitely doable driving and on foot.
