This family runned hotel exceeded all our expectations! The staff who runs the hotel is so welcoming and kind, they made us feel at home! The rooms and facilities are comfortable, we loved being on the ground floor and have direct access to the garden and pool area, while from the other side of our room we had a balcony with ocean view!!! The bus to chania stops just at the hotel entrance, which is so convenient. Plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants around, the beach is 3 minutes walk. There is a daily cleaning service which we didn’t really need but appreciate to have the option. We will definitely come back!!

We booked this property for the last couple of days of our holiday so that the we could relax while the kids played. It was very nice and very clean. The breakfast had a large variety of food and was all done very well.

This is definitely the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room itself is very spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a large terrace with a stunning view of the pool and the sea. The hotel is located across the road from the first line, and within 5 minutes, you can already be at the beach. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, and the staff is friendly. There was an option to pay extra for all-inclusive, but it wasn’t necessary for us. There are nice cafés and restaurants nearby. In the evening, there was sometimes entertainment for children, but after 11 PM, the hotel was very quiet. If I visit Agia Marina again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Cozy, modern, and stylish hotel, loved the curtains, balconies, and terrace in particular. Great location - just by the sea, with a wonderful view and private territory where there’s always enough spots and sun loungers. Delicious meals, huge portions, and DIVINE chocolate and orange cakes. All staff are absolutely amazing - very kind, flexible, thoughtful, and helpful. My special thanks to Georgos and Kostas who went beyond just providing a service and brought in a personal touch that made my experience genuinely warm and human🩵 This was a perfect 10-out-of-10 stay beyond any expectations. The beach was behind the hotel directly with free sunbeds. That is the best suites with beaches in Agia Marina. We can see the sea from our terrace, that was amazing. The MeGusta restsurant was the best in the area, the staff is very nice and helpful, they love the kids. We can order cocktails, food and anything to the beach. Everything was super 😁

    It's a touristy strip of land with amazing beaches and...

    It's a touristy strip of land with amazing beaches and fantastic taverna-style restaurants. Beaches are public but we suggest picking a beachfront hotel and grabbing a sun lounger. Some beach bars have all day music, other parts are quieter so there's something for everyone. We stuck to the beach and had a really lovely time. Restaurants recommendations include: Koupes - we ate there nearly every other day. The food is incredible and the baklava is not only the best I've had, but is genuinely made by the owner's mother! Kosmos - delicious baked feta and lamb, and the best tzatziki. They have a kids playground if you have children, and there are also cats and kittens looking hopeful. Petra Family Restaurant - the mixed grill is incredible and enough for at least three people. The 'beef burgers' (more like flattened meatballs) are absolutely delicious.

    Agia Marina is a great area for daytime beach clubs. I would recommend taking the bus at night to the port (Limani) for better food selection, more authentic bars and lounges, and overall social feel. Agia Marina is a good daytime spot and good place to stay in a hotel.

    Most beautiful restaurants I have seen gathered in one location. Wonderful beach, a bit shallow but fun, even when there are waves. Just be reasonable and heed the lifeguards. Great selection of supermarkets with everything you need

    I love Agia Marina.

    I love Agia Marina. It has the longest beach with sandy shore where one can walk along and/or swim in the beautiful sea. There are ton of restaurants for every palate and B&B or hotels. It is one of my most favorite places to go for vacation.

    A wonderful beach with several beach bars with sunloungers and umbrellas for hire or for free if you have meals there. The main road can be busy but never felt unsafe, with a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. A very regular bus service to Chania was a pleasant surprise and should be on everyone's itinerary.

    We have stayed in Agia Marina five or six times over the years and it was the first place we visited in Crete over twenty years ago. Although we like to think that we do not return to places and have travelled the world, we have been to Crete at least fourteen times and have gravitated towards Agia Marina. Now in our late 70's, we are comfortable in the knowledge that it is a safe place to holiday, with a good range of accommodation, a predictable climate for the most part, some good restaurants and shops and the people are welcoming and friendly. It is also a short bus ride or taxi (about 8 miles) from Chania, for a change of scenery, a fantastic Venetian harbour and a good range of shops and restaurants.

    Everything was absolutely perfect. The suites are beautiful, light, very clean and very modern. Antonis the host and Ute the housekeeping lady will meet you everyday with a big smile and warmth, and you feel like home. The best part was the pool and the garden which is a very clean and comfortable area. The pool gets cleaned whenever it’s needed, and the sunbeds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay at Sarpidon suites again if I visit Crete again.

    This was a beautiful apartment with an amazing view for sunrise. It was well equiped, large and comfortable for 2 people, and in a great location close to a beach, shops, restaurants. The host was super lovely and provided us with extra linen/towels during our 6 day stay, and baked us muffins and left us a nice leaving note. I would recommend this place to stay in the west of Crete 100%!!

    Despite of a very windy week in Crete I had a very nice time in this hotel! All the people are very friendly and happy and they have a wonderful dining terrace where you can woutch the sunset or simply enjoy the seaside view at every moment of the day! My room was pretty and very large and quiet. As it was a bit cold in April I did appraciete the heating pump a lot.

    I’ve stayed in many all-inclusive resorts, but Galini Sea View really stands out. The food quality was surprisingly high, especially the local Cretan dishes. Drinks were branded, and there were no long queues at the bars or buffet. Everything felt well organized, with attention to detail. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quality all-inclusive in Crete.
