Beautiful apartment with super comfy bed and great shower. Reception staff were lovely and so helpful. The pool was nice and shaded (though this meant it never got warm!), a great quiet space in the middle of the city.

Exactly what we expected. We needed something fairly close to the ferry port, didn't want to spend a lot of money, and this fit the bill. Communication with host was via email, and the transaction was smooth and simple. The unit was clean and fresh, with all the basic amenities needed for a night. This was in a small village that has a couple taverns in the platia as well as a little market near by, all a short walk from the room. The drive to the port is about 15 mins at 7:00 a.m.

This place was AMAZING. The small town and luxurious vibe we were looking for. All the staff from reception to kitchen to cleaning was so nice and helpful. Especially Manos was kind and thoughtful. Nikos helped us arrange a car. It was more expensive than what we found online, but this car was delivered to us and we could leave it at our next hotel in Heraklion. We therefore paid for this service.

The location was lovely and the staff warm and friendly. We had a very relaxing time and this was mostly due to how quiet and peaceful the apartments were. We had a hire car so getting to and from the local supermarkets was easy and the local town had a number of lovely restaurants. We had breakfast at the resort dining area on our last day and that was excellent too. All in all, we had a perfect time and are looking forward to returning next year.

    We found a few lovely coves and were able to visit Herkalion...

    We found a few lovely coves and were able to visit Herkalion and Rethymno easily from this location. Every meal we ate in our week in the regions was delicious, everyone we met was kind and helpful and all round we had a lovely break to slow down and relax. Our villa was on the side of steep hill and had the most beautiful views across the valley and over the countryside. It was a quiet and peaceful spot away from the busy resorts.
