Beautiful apartment with super comfy bed and great shower. Reception staff were lovely and so helpful. The pool was nice and shaded (though this meant it never got warm!), a great quiet space in the middle of the city.

Quiet countryside location 15min from airport. The studio has all amenities for a comfortable stay, and the taverna on the village square a large choice of excellent and low-priced dishes. Check-in is easy, and the owners spoil you with a small bottle of raki, and might bring you some self made sweets or garden fruit as well.

What a gem! We stayed at Eliathos for 10 days, and it was the perfect base for us to explore the local surroundings and the charming town of Archanes, as well as easily accessible day trips to Heraklion, Knossos, Chania, Diktaion Cave and Agia Pelagia. The stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere of this residence provided a lovely place for us to spend days by the pool in between the longer day trips. The facilities were excellent, with each residence fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful (especially Nikos, who gave us lots of helpful tips and suggestions) and made it feel like a home from home. Would highly recommend Eliathos for short or long stays in Crete.

    We found a few lovely coves and were able to visit Herkalion...

    We found a few lovely coves and were able to visit Herkalion and Rethymno easily from this location. Every meal we ate in our week in the regions was delicious, everyone we met was kind and helpful and all round we had a lovely break to slow down and relax. Our villa was on the side of steep hill and had the most beautiful views across the valley and over the countryside. It was a quiet and peaceful spot away from the busy resorts.
