A lovely base from which to explore the mysteries of Elefsina during its status as European Capital of Culture 2023! The people, the apartment - I can only give the highest praise. Everything was very comfortable and clean, the welcome was exceedingly warm and friendly. I loved the independence of having the apartment for a few days and it was a lovely touch to have a marble cake gifted in the kitchen, which made for easy breakfasts! The price was very fair indeed, and the calm of staying here (instead of busy Athens) was a blessing. Everything was walkable - restaurants, events, sites, the sea... I will come back here without any hesitation!

Good location, walking distance from popular spots in Elefsina and various supermarkets. Loads of bus services around the area as well. The elevator in the building is quick, I never found myself waiting long for it. The apartment is quite big, bigger than I expected. Kitchen is a great size with a huge fridge. The living room has a nice coffee table and sofa. The bed is comfy and there's a fair bit of storage for clothes. The balcony is a nice touch. Having an iron and steamer available was very hand as well.

This is a spacious, very clean and comfortable family house. The hosts had kindly provided various items of food and drink. The house is well-positioned with a fifteen-minute walk from the ancient ruins, the taverna area and the harbour, There is a fully-equipped kitchen and plentiful hot water. You don't choose it for the views or the style, but for the convenience and the comfort. It makes an excellent base and is very good value for money.

I went there in order to visit the ancient site.

I went there in order to visit the ancient site. I arrived on a Monday, and intended to visit on Tuesday. The site is closed on Tuesdays! So I went Monday afternoon, and it was great because there was hardly anyone else there. The town is right on the coast, but rather spoiled by the massive container shipping, and oil refinery. It's not really a coast for sunbathing or swimming. There are plenty of shops and masses of cafes. The locals were friendly (this was just before main tourist season, so that probably helped!).

The elusis ancient site was worth seeing although museum is undergoing renovations There is also an excellent local ceramicist who is highly skilled and makes high quality replicas for acropolis museum and others (Minoan - Hellenistic)

My stay at Elefsinian Mysteries was a delightful experience. It is hidden in a super quiet neighborhood close to the center of Elefsina. Communication with the lovely owner was uncomplicated and efficient. My room, which was spotless, was beautifully decorated, functional, and had everything I needed. There were even treats waiting for me! The owner and staff's hospitality made me feel at home. They really put their heart into it <3

The location was excellent, Ioanna was the sweetest host ever and helped us with anything we needed. Her home is absolutely stunning and has every amenity you could need. The terrace is amazing for enjoying the evening air and sunsets. There is no better place to stay in Elefsina and we hope to come again soon!

Bed was very uncomfortable, mattress needed changed rolled into the middle therefore a very broken sleep, whole point of a hotel is a comfortable bed! Breakfast charge for an Americano 🤔 Going back so see if bed is better in another room!
