Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind.
Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind. I'd say it's more appealing for couples rather than young families, but that said, there are some things to keep the kids happy. Beaches are sandy with watersports and there is a waterpark, aquarium and Dinosaur park close by. If you want hussle and bustle, Gouves is not the place for you, it's a laid back resort with most places closing by 1am but a few remain open a bit later. The grounds are just so beautiful and if you like your open space this is the place to stay. Rented the whole complex so had access to each of the apartments, all of which were really clean, tidy and cosy with great facilities. Better if you have transport as the complex is situated off the main road via a dirt track but still can walk to the shops if you need anything. Our room was spacious with a huge terrace offering a stunning sea view. It was tastefully furnished, very clean, and comfortable. Although the pool area was quite busy, we could always find a free sunbed. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The outdoor kitchen area was fantastic, loved the fact they had included a fridge. The pool was a great size and the sunloungers were very comfortable. There are so many great things about this villa. It's the best villa we've stayed in.
