    Very central to visit Corfu town by bus €1.60 e.w. for a day trip, gouvia is lovely, gr8 restaurants, fresh food & the beach was lovely, every restaurant we ate in was delish, especially the chinese restaurant, ooh and the bar with the Elvis tribute was brilliant and reasonably priced for drinks too. And I even got a great haircut at the local hair dressers, they were so friendly, we had a great relaxing holiday in Gouvia.

    I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made...

    I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made it easy to travel to other areas. Gouvia however has a nice mix of shops, taverna's and bars. Just enough for my 6 night stay. I definitely recommend Aries restaurant and Kaktus beach bar.

    Gouvia is a village type resort that spiked off the main road to Corfu town . Lots of restaurants and a few bars / motorcycle rentals , supermarkets, tour trips booking centre and apartments and hotels , Everything you need for your hols to hand . The supermarkets are really reasonably priced . The restaurants are plentiful and also priced well . A bus runs every 20mins at the top of the road into Corfu town ( they do get very busy though ) Fare is €2.50

    Gouvia is a lovely area, I went with a group of girls in our mid twenties. It was very relaxing and some lovely restaurants (I would really recommend the seafood linguine at 9 muses). Gouvia has some lovely beaches within a couple of minutes of our hotel. It is typically people in their mid 50s but great for a more relaxing, lounge by the pool kind of holiday. We got the bus into the old town or Ipsos to go for drinks/club vibes, which were super easy to navigate and way cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely recommend Gouvia as a location but if you’re looking for more of a night life then I would look elsewhere on the island.

    It's a great little seaside village, lots of good restaurants and lovely location, BUT "Seaside Cottage - private garden retreat, was dirty and very inadequate, not in a fit state to be let for a holiday.

    We stayed in Gouvia as this was the base for a wedding party. Otherwise may not have chosen to visit, but would not be averse to staying there again for a late season sunshine beach holiday. A number of tavernas were already closing by early/mid October. Everywhere in Gouvia is accessible on foot, and other beaches/Corfu town easy to reach by car (if you are brave enough) or by bus.

    The hotel is very well positioned. You have a bus stop not far form it that serves both blue and green lines, so you can easily reach Corfu center and other nice sites (Sidari, Palaiokastritsa...). You also have various restaurants nearby and access to beach. The overall level is very good, the room was simple and clean and was made every day. The owner, Christos, is really really warm and welcoming person. He helped me with my questions about the island. Totally recommend this place!!!

    Very friendly hosts and stuff. Nice, spacious and very clean room as well as beautiful garden with swimming pool. Good buffet continental breakfast with variety of options. Excellent location - peaceful and quiet, walkable distance to the center of Gouvia, Corfu old town can be reached by car easily in app 10 min. Location is also great if you want to discover the Corfu island by car. Hosts are very helpful with suggestions for beaches etc.

    Having 2 seperate rooms for our kids was great. The beds were the most comfortable of our entire Greece trip.( nothing came close). Pool was great. 10 min drive from downtown Corfu. Grocery stores and Gouvia high street real close by. Communication by what's app on phone with Hotel (Nancy)was prompt and efficient.

    Excellent hotel facilities, clean and well managed including the pool and surrounding area. The staff are polite and very helpful. The food was excellent. The room was cleaned each day to a great standard. The hotel is in an excellent location for all the attractions of Gouvia. Will definitely visit again.
