I can't say enough about this property. I will most definitely choose to stay at this resort again, except I choose the Luxury side of the property just for the experience. Gorgeous and exemplary best describes this property and it location...best in all of Santorini. If you plan to visit Santorini, you absolutely have to stay here...hands down. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was an event...so many yummy options. The view was perfect. It's close to shopping and the black sand beach. But wear shoes because their beach is all rocks. Very close to fine dining restaurants, hookah, dancing, shopping and tour reservations. If you stay here you will be telling your grandkids, grandkids about this hidden gem.

This is such a magnificent place and the staff is outstanding. They really make their outmost best to make your stay the best they can! Pools outside are well heated so even if a bit colder weather you can enjoy them perfectly. Breakfast is great, a lot of choice.

From the check-in to the check-out this was an amazing experience. Dimitris, his wife and nephews will make sure that you feel like you're right at home and will make sire that you get whatever you ask for within reason. Lovely rooms, beautiful pool, warm Jacuzzi, delicious and rich breakfast. Plenty of sights to see all around and if necessary Dimitris will guide you to the proper people/ companies if you want to do any other activity.

Casa Vitae was lovely and quiet. We were greeted by friendly and professional staff. The rooms and bathroom were large, well decorated and very clean. It was nice to have an outdoor terrace where we ate our breakfast or sat to have a drink. the pool day beds and lounges were comfortable and readily available. About a ten minute walk to Kamari beach which we didn’t mind doing.

It is a perfect accommodation to stay in Kamari. Service oriented, knowledgeable and friendly management. I love the hotel so much and will definitely go back. In fact, we decided to extend our stay in the hotel for another night for a reasonable rate including breakfast. Free private parking is already a big plus, comfy bed and quiet location that one can really relax and unwind😊. Thank you so much La Bellezza. You made me love Kamari more😊. And by the way, we were also granted a late check out at 1pm without surcharge😊. It’s just the best accommodation especially for families and group of friends. P.S.: special thanks to Faye, Katerina & the 2 gentlemen for the super and impressive assistance & service.

Vangelis is a REAL host. He made us feel more welcome than at home. Super available, ready to fix issues and give recommendations.     The beach is fine, enough place for everyone, but I would not stay there longer than one day beacause the sand is only on the beach and when you enter the sea there is only lava. It was interesting experience, but I would definitely not recommend especially if you are travelling with children - it is very slippery and it is easy to fall down and hurt yourself on a rock. The place itself is nice but I doubt I will return to such a beach. But that was nice to try at least :D

    Kamari is great to visit.

    Kamari is great to visit. Nothing is too far, you can get the local buses to Fira, or the airport. I went on a full day tour and visited most places such as pyrgos, tharisia island, hot springs, volcano, Oia for sunset. All very beautiful. You have to trek the scenic view from Oia to Fira- one of the best walks in the world! Every place I ate was delicious. Never had a disappointing meal.

    Lots of lovely tavernas and bars. The locals are really friendly. Take beach shoes as the pebbles can be painful under foot. Be careful to find out where the rocks in the sea are slippery. The beach closer towards the rock (The Hook Bar end) has a safer entrance to the sea. Dimitris Greek night is great fun, there is an open air cinema close by, too! Great reviews. There are too many places to recommend for food, drink, sports, music, karaoke. I don't think there are any places I wouldn't recommend.

    We loved our accommodation at thousand stars and highly recommend it. Took a private highlight tour of the island which was amazing. Negatives on Kamari include swimming at the beach which was very hazardous when entering and leaving the water due to the lava levels underfoot. Also, being constantly hassled by the same people to take a massage.

    It's not a sandy beach, but it's very beautiful.

    It's not a sandy beach, but it's very beautiful. You should have that special shoes to walk on the beach because of the little rocks. We used public transportation and it's ok. The price is fair and they have buses to all the main places of the island. We had breakfast at a small coffee shop near the hotel and it was amazing both the food and the staff. There's a street with good restaurants and many souvenir stores near the beach.

    This is a little gem in Santorini. You get the best of both worlds with a beach resort but 30 min €2 bus ride from the busy spots of Fira and Oia. The staff can’t do enough for you, in particular Anna. The beach is about 5 steps away from the hotel of which there are free sun loungers (the comfy padded ones!) and there are numerous Greek taverns to choose from all within 5 minutes walk. If you want a day off from the beach the pool is lovely and private.

    The first couple of days of our holiday we though were in Corfu (Where I really thought I had booked) and have not yet worked out what happened there. It was the best mistake I have ever made. Santorini and especially Kamari was the perfect place to be. For us it was the place to stay with more terrific restaurants you could shake a stick at. Lots of nice people to talk to. Especially the Welsh ladies at Lefkothea hotel.

    Literally everything. Dimitris and his family could not have been more welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and excellently maintained and cared for. It is exceptionally clean throughout and there if not one thing that we could fault. This is the fourth time we have visited Santorini and the Amara Suites are by far the best experience we have had. Don’t get me started on the breakfasts…..wow!!!
