Thalori Village is a very clever concept intergrating beautiful modern stone style appartements in a small mountain top authenic village, making you feel like part of the village and not an intruding tourist. Our room was spacious, modern and clean whilst respecting the Crete charm and the view is to die for. Thalori offers a beautiful swimming pool and other activity's such as horse riding etc... We ate everynight in the restaurant that serves delicious typical local dishes. Just one word of advise, If you visit the beach at the foot of the mountain, do NOT use the air conditionning when returning to the village!!! 😉 Bravo, to the creaters of this wonderful village. I most highly recommand Thalori Village.

The hostess Mama Maria was so sweet...she was very kind and loved our children 😁. She even brought us some Greek doughnut type treats that were delicious! It is a beautiful, well-appointed spot on the edge of town overlooking the water. Tris Ekklisies is a lovely secluded place on the South Coast. We were there in mid-April and saw one other person on the beach the two days that we were there. It's a bit of an adventure to get there but driving over the mountain down the windy road and taking in the village's dramatic location was part of the fun (the road is fully paved).

A modern apartment in a great location with a beautiful view of the beach. A very friendly and sociable person waiting for our arrival. Additional requests were taken into account and a nice gift was waiting for us in the fridge. Several beaches within a 20-minute walk. Close to restaurants. There was only one shop in the village. A unique road to the settlement! The only thing I can complain about is that the stay was definitely too short, but that's our problem. I recommend it and will definitely return if possible.

The location is truly exceptional, offering breathtaking views that made every moment special. The hospitality and attentiveness of the host were outstanding – anything we needed was handled immediately and with great care. Beautiful family owned and run village, everyone is incredibly nice and helpful - be it extra utilities, recommendations or just friendly chats. Perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet, plus a good location for day trips such as Lentas or Matala. Might have gained a couple of pounds, breakfast buffet, snack and dinner are just too good :)

    3 days in this destination is not enough, there is at least 1 week in the area. The monastery of Koudomá, the village of Kapetaniana and Mount Kofinas are amazing. The excavations of Gortyna, Phaistos and the Agriofarago gorge are nearby.

    Beautiful remote location for people who love hiking and...

    Beautiful remote location for people who love hiking and nature. You do need a car to get there, the roads may be challenging for less experienced drivers ( narrow and lots of turns). The resort restaurant is the only place to eat, serving very tasty local food.

    It is a real hamlet as in the past, however, now equipped with all facilities needed for your life including wifi... Up in the village there is a nice hotel with very good kitchen and very friendly staff.

    I love that the builder-owners of Thaloria also did many building projects & street improvements in the neighboring Village of Kapetania. There is also a sign at the pool entrance that Thaloria decided to let the neighbor/villagers use the pool at certain times in the interdependent community spirit they are trying to cultivate. Unique & rural ‘Cretan’ !
