The property is centrally located, walking distance from the main strip of Santorini easy access to shops, restaurants, caldera views and transport . It is perfectly located with access to transport. The staff are very helpful and accommodating to your needs. They helped me out of a tight situation going out of their way and above and beyond …. This is a family run business and with it comes warm and hospitable service. Especially for solo travelers on an affordable budget! I would definitely stay there again ! The room was super clean and well maintained with air conditioning and a TV and a comfortable bed. There is also a swimming pool to cool off and relax in. I’m very grateful I stayed here and very affordable considering proximity to shops, restaurants, caldera views and transport.

Excellent breakfast with a lot of choices, the pool and the jacuzzies are amazing and, as there are 5 different jacuzzies, they offer intimacy at any hour. The sun beds under the natural shadow were also very appreciated. The reception services are also very client oriented. The room was comfortable and very practical furnished. The fine dining/lunch included in the room price, spoiled us with a 5 course menu, different every day. We appreciated the daily complementary shuttle to Thiera, for a wonderful sun set view.

Absolutely Fantastic ! I liked everything about this place , extremely friendly staff , great pool , fantastic hot tubs on the top , clean and very spacious rooms, set back from mine drag and quiet especially in the evening, about 10 minutes walk to the beach .     A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

    Not much happening in Karterados and Fira is bloody...

    Not much happening in Karterados and Fira is bloody expensive. I would however recommend moving on to other nicer islands such as Milos, Ios, Naxos and particularly Paros. Santorini is a bit shit, the steps from the old port are literally covered in Donkey shit, it's disgusting

    Only thing I'd change is renting an ATV/scooter/car right from the get-go. Buses in Santorini are not that reliable and do not seem to go according to the schedule printed in the main station (only the airport one departed as scheduled from what I could see). That being said, it's not a terribly long walk, but after a full day walking and sweating under the sun, who wants to wait for a bus or walk for 30 minutes? In any case, it was close enough and the city itself seemed lovely and relatively quiet... although I did stay in the outskirts.

    This was our second time staying in the village.

    This was our second time staying in the village. Very convenient for getting around not too far to walk to Fira. We don’t like crows so prefer to stay outside of the main tourist areas this is just far enough away from the capital. Plenty of places to eat in the village a few shops and bus stop just at the top of the main road.

    Lots of places to eat, decent little supermarket 'Masoutis', the bus stop went to quite a few places (including the airport) and was only 15/20 min walk to Fira Town. On one side great ocean views.

    Fairly quiet and laid back village within around 20 minutes walk of Fira. Bus took around 10 minutes into Fira cost was 4 euros. Lots of lovely places to eat in the village, we preferred this to going into Fira as it was so bust there.

    Good location in the middle of island, 30 minutes walking to Fira town, calm environment ! The breakfast and dinner (half pension) are so tasteful ! Surprisingly excellent ratio of quality/price! The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are so nice that my children enjoyed themselves until the last minute before departure ! Hotel room is so clean and comfortable with drink, snacks and nice Santorini red wine offered ! Staff are always smiling, very kind and helpful for all service request !

    The hotel was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We were also welcomed with drinks and breakfast which was on the house. All the staff was extremely helpful and kind. They also gave us excellent suggestions for how to spend our day in Santorini. Easy transportation facilities and they also gave us a few discounts on the taxi. Overall a worthwhile trip.

    Hosts were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and be away from the main peak area of Santorini. Transport network is available every hour to go to fira which then acts as a connecting link to other places.
