Everything was brilliant, the apartment had everything even a washing machine and powder , fruit wine biscuits when we arrived, everything was so clean , good bedding , location couldn’t be any better right by the beach and restaurants, the host was excellent replied straight away to any questions and so helpful, Kini bay has a perfect sandy beach at the end of the bay ,

I can’t praise Pino di Loto enough! From the moment we arrived to the second we left we were treated like part of the family! The location is peaceful and beautiful, with the most stunning views. We loved our room, the super-comfortable bed, the poolside area - and it was great to find the pool open off season! Oh, and how could we forget the delicious breakfast of carefully selected local cheeses, preserves, and other delightful treats! I don't know from where to start and where to end. Everything at the hotel Kamelo is far away beyond any expectations. And when I say everything, I really mean it. The people from staff are so kind and warm. We felt so welcomed and we are very grateful we were so inspired to book at Kamelo hotel 12 nights in total, half of our vacation in Syros. Sophia is extraordinary, such a radiant, luminous lady, always with a huge, sincere smile on her face. She runs so elegantly this wonderful hotel. She told us the story of the hotel that was started by her grandfather. It is a business of 3 generations in her family. Fascinating story and fabulous people. We saw Sophia 's father and uncle dancing with so much passion on a live music evening. The Bolas restaurant of the hotel serve amazing food and the prices are very affordable. The hotel is right on a lovely beach into a charming bay with shallow waters, perfect for families with children. The beds are very comfortable. We slept so well. The bus stop is just 150 m from the hotel Kamelo. The buses come regularly and go to Ermoupolis in 20 minutes. We still have other 4 days to stay at Kamelo and enjoy every moment.

Kini is a delightful small town.

Kini is a delightful small town. We visited in low season and still had the use of three excellent restaurants, one located ON the beach, which was our favorite spot for the holiday. The main joy was swimming with the many shoals of fish, so snorkel and mask are recommended. The old part of the town is extremely scenic, with many small-holdings with goats, donkeys and 5000 cats to make friends with. We were delighted by what Kini had to offer in late October, and it was a perfect low-season base outside Ermopouli. Well serviced by busses, Best to ask a local where they stop because it's not well signposted, but they are regular, prompt and cheap.

Kini is a small fishing town, only 20 mins by bus or taxi from the main port/city. The bus leaves Kini once an hour, check the schedule at the centre of the strip and cost €2 and is very efficient and safe. Kini itself is set up of approx 7/8 restaurants, 2 shops and a couple nice bars and a very good bakery called vitimin sea. Very chilled and relaxed, not touristy like some of the other beaches and no music etc. Would highly recommend visiting Kini for a more relaxed vibe and has the most incredible sunsets.

We were there right at the start of the season (May) and it was relatively quiet which we liked. Still there were plenty of cool beach bars with very comfortable loungers, great restaurants and cocktail bars. It had a really nice vibe. Transport links were good to get around the island and having seen a fair amount of Siros we think we chose a particularly nice area to stay.

Kini is great for family vacation, for a week max.

Kini is great for family vacation, for a week max. It has a nice beach, flooded with umbrellas and beach beds though, so if you like organised beaches, it's ideal. It has a few taverns, with good food in reasonable places. Ermoupoli and Ano Syros is quite close, about 15 minutes by car.

Kini was the perfect mix of Greek style beach resort and traditional village. Not too flashy but with many nice restaurants and an amazingly crystal clear beach. It is easy to walk around the whole village and beyond to other beaches nearby. We ate mostly in our villa but enjoyed meals on the beachfront at restaurants serving traditional Greek food at a good price. A great place to stay.

The hotel is beautifully situated at the top of a hillside overlooking Kini beach (only a few minutes drive by car). The grounds are kept beautifully and the host was very accommodating. We opted for the breakfast served in the garden on the first morning which for €9 per person was brilliant value. I would highly recommend the Syrou LOTOS to those looking for a quiet escape. Car renal essential I would say but only 15 mins drive to the main town of Ermoupoli.

Beautiful place that made us very happy. Hosts are friendly, met us with the keys, and gave recommendations for Kini and Hermoupolis. The apartment has everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Bed is comfortable, room has plenty of storage, and a wonderful view of the sea. Location is amazing for being so close to the beach which was much quieter than Kini beach while we were there.

Super close to the beach, and nearby restaurants in Kini. Anna-Maria was an amazing host and made us feel right at home - she even offered us sandwiches for our ferry ride after we checked out. Our room had everything we need and had great air conditioning. Highly recommend staying here if you’re after a relaxing break in Kini!

Lovely balcony (room 6) with great views across Kini Beach. Good size bedroom and clean bathroom. Excellent value. Plenty of storage space. Nice touch having 4 coffee pods with the Nespresso machine. Efi lives on site with her family, so always responsive to any questions.
