Everything except that it was too far from shopping. The food was excellent, the staff was great, the rooms clean.. The swimming pool was super. I have never seen sure a huge pool! Everything I see now doesn't measure up to the Euphoria Resort. They Are G R E A T!!

The location of Asterion Suites & Spa is very special and really a small paradise in Crete. The personell is super friendly and absolutely professional. The manager George is a very special character that made the stay a real perfection. We had a suite with a private pool and everything there was first class, super clean, excellently equipped and stood out all expectations. The cuisine is first class too. And finally every staff member was super friendly, the pool bar is superior and the personell there is extra ordinary and the close distance to the sea is just all in all a fantastic place and we will certainly come back.

Very nice place, very good local food and drinks at the open bar, two pools where You can swim or just chill :) Close to the shore, very nice spot to see the sunrise near the hotel. Really nice people, they treat You like a friend or family and help if You need anything. Good spot to travel further west or south on Crete, close enough to airport and Chania city. Definitely going there again! :D

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel seemed full, but yet there were plenty of free sunbeds by the pool and the private beach. The best part of the hotel is the private beach, as it is very quiet and the beach is very clean. The hotel is isolated but still very accessible, so well suited for a few days of relaxation.

    Not a busy tourist location, quiet and more local feel.

    Not a busy tourist location, quiet and more local feel. Beautiful views but still in close proximity to shops and bus network to travel the island. The restaurants in nearby Kolympari, have some of the best fish restaurants in the area, whilst serving a full and traditional menu. The beach is particular calm and safe for children due to the natural stone breakers built to protect the shore line, with sunbeds and umbrellas attached to the restaurants along the front. There are also a couple of nearby villages more inland which also provide picturesque settings and great food and value for money. We have stayed in Marathokefála twice now and would definitely recommend.
