Very clean and neat, very modern and well set out. Stunning balcony to sit on and see the sun set. Owners are so accommodating and friendly, each day dropped off little homemade treats for us to enjoy. Great location to good restaurants and central to everything.

The communication and help to get to the accomodation was amazing! Everything was very neat and tidy with all you need. We had a little kitchen area in our room which was amazing, but I don't think all the rooms have as extensive a kitchen. Big comfortable bed. Everything you need

Very unique, fun, and comfortable! It's actually a windmill converted into a cozy and comfortable place to stay. The hosts shared homemade cakes with us as well:) I would strongly recommend for anyone who is looking for this sort of experience.

Truly a beautiful property, everything was finished to a high standard and we felt super comfortable here. Having a private pool and the courtyard area was a highlight, so lovely to relax there! We absolutely loved our time here!!! It was exactly what we were looking for. The property is beautiful and with a very authentic feel. The room was beautiful, with the right amount of modern updates but warm and seaside town touches. It was spacious, airy, and comfortable. We had breakfast every morning by the owners and it was absolutely delicious. We really felt a warm welcome from the owner and he was so kind to us during our whole stay. They provide airport pickup/drop off for free which was amazing. The location couldnt be more perfect. It is a lovely 7 min walk into town of Adamas, but far enough away from the bustle. Very convenient. Overall 10/10 for price and expectation! Loved it here!

    Nice to be in a location with some restaurants/bar, lots of shops, incredible views and lots of friendly cats! Safe area and free public parking lot a 10-15 min walk from most places in the Plaka. Overall seems much less crowded and crazy than Adamas Port area. Some small museums in the town. As Plaka is higher up on the island, be prepared for walking inclines/declines and some stairs depending on your route. Limited car parking up close to restaurants and some of the rental accommodations, so something to consider if you have difficulty with mobility. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this area again.

    Excellent location in Placka.

    Excellent location in Placka. The host Stelios really care about the clients and he is used to provide very useful information about restaurants and beaches in Milos and other islands. The studio was amazing with an excellent view. I suggest all future visitors of Milos to stay in the old village of Placka and book a room at Halara Studios.

    Magnificent view from the terrace of the countryside below...

    Magnificent view from the terrace of the countryside below Plaka, parts of the Milos bay and the windmills of Trypiti. On foot you can reach the old core with its beautiful Cycladic architecture in a few minutes or the ancient theater in half an hour. Don't miss the sunset from the Kastro! Our host Dimitris was incredibly helpful, in case of technical problems (Wi-Fi) immediately on the spot and had many good tips for restaurants, beaches and other destinations. On request, our apartment would have been cleaned even daily, which we did not find necessary.

    Plaka is a small village but definitely the best place to...

    Plaka is a small village but definitely the best place to stay on Milos due to the village being quite lively at night. I recommend a car for the island anyways so you might as well stay in that village and get a great view. The village is also central enough to the main attractions that if you want to hike directly from there to the port city or the beaches (Plathiena) or fish village (Klima) you will have a nice good hike. The prices are more expensive there so go eat elsewhere. The Utopian Café is worth it, though you can see the beautiful sunset from so many places. Do not go to the only café/bakery near the center - it's overpriced. Go to Adamantas - the port town - better prices for better quality.

    This was a lovely stay. The family were really friendly. There are restaurants nearby.some a bit pretentious. We used a local taxi to take us around and to leave on the ferry Incoming was difficult as l ferry was two hours late. Nothing at ferry terminal. Best to walk to entry to port where there are more. No nearby local shops. Excellent archaeology including the spot where Venus de Milo was found.

    We had such a wonderful night in Plaka in this lovely cosy and super clean appartment. The owners are super welcoming and provided great recommandations. The location at the end of a very typical Greek alley makes you feel like you are discovering an hidden gem. It's very close to Plaka center but in a very quiet and more authentic part of the city. The room is super clean, and the shower is the best we had in Greece. Of course the balcony is just 5star, especially for the sunrise.

    The apartment is very well located and with everything you need to spend some time in Milos. Comfortable beds and well equiped kitchen, and even parking space really close to it. The booking is managed by a travel agency who took care of everything for us ( car rental, transfer, boat tours) and it seamed to be a great advantage. We had some issues with hot water and internet after a city power blackout and they fixed it very quickly.
