Kyveli Hotel is a small family-run cozy inn located in Palioi Poroi, a very small village on the eastern foothills of mount Olympus. Clean, spacious rooms, with proper heating, comfortable beds and excellent view to Thermaikos gulf and the Aegean sea. The central lounge with a nice fire-place, a traditional wood stove and comfortable armchairs and sofas is an attractive place to meet and share a drink; also used to serve breakfast. A large terrace with very nice view is also available. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, hiking and/or climbing with small local roads and trails passing through rich woods with pine, chestnut, walnut and arbutus trees. Small creeks with plane trees on their banks are also common to see. The village offers two nice restaurants. We tried Σχολείο, what a gem. The owners of Kyveli are always there to serve and help, approachable and professional at the same time.

Breakfast was simple but good. Everything felt homemade, and we loved having it on the terrace with the morning breeze. If you're used to large hotel buffets, this is more of a cozy experience. The location was absolutely lovely! Breakfast was served on a quiet terrace overlooking the sea and surrounded by greenery. It felt peaceful and intimate, a perfect setting to start the day slowly and mindfully.

I recently stayed at Kymata hotel with my family, including our 2-year-old daughter and our dog, and we had a fantastic experience. We were thrilled that the hotel is pet-friendly, and despite having a big dog, we didn’t encounter any issues at all – they were very accommodating! We stayed in a triple room, which was very spacious and sparkling clean, providing plenty of room for everyone, including our pet. The location is perfect, with close proximity to the beach, and we loved relaxing on the chaise longues by the water. The hotel’s restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The food was excellent — there’s nothing better than enjoying fresh fish right next to the sea with a stunning view. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the hotel manager was especially welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family and pet-friendly getaway. We hope to return soon!

This hotel is in an excellent position right on the main waterfront. There is really no need for a car as everything you need is an easy walk. The owner and staff are very accommodating and friendly. I hope to return to this wonderful city and I will be happy to stay at this hotel again.

We had an incredible stay of 2 weeks at this hotel, honestly it was beyond any expectations. First of all we were lucky to get a room with amazing Mount Olympus view that made every morning just precious and magical. Rooms were clean and tidy as well as bed linen and towels. Hotel is not super big, however it had an outdoor pool with plenty of sun beds around, so you can enjoy yourself during the day or in the evening with a good cocktail or cup of coffee served on the bar next to the pool. Hotel is not located on the first sea line, but for us it wasn’t a problem since we appreciated a little walk (3 to 5 minutes, depending on the location you choose on the beach) after a good and at the same time affordable meal at the hotel restaurant. For those who are coming by car or plan to rent, there are plenty of parking spots in the close proximity to the hotel. BUT! The real treasure of this hotel is stuff. Everyone is extra nice and friendly, would it be owner, receptionist, manager or cleaning lady. They made us feel like we were visiting family or good old friends, making our stay unforgettable. We will remember them with warm feelings in our hearts. To sum up, we would come back if have an opportunity!!
