Everything! The property is amazing: beautifully designed and executed in a stunning setting. Our room with a private pool was excellent. The hosts, Olivier and Giannis, were fantastic - and having breakfast and the optional dinner done by Giannis felt like having a private chef! Both Olivier and Giannis were always ready with local knowledge to help us during our stay. 10 out of 10.

We arrived to Castello hotel Emmanuela and Antonia at the reception was amazing The manager of the hotel Giorgos meet us at the reception and give us the best service that u can’t imagine and take care for any request For all our period. Breakfast and dinner very reach and high level and the view is front the beautiful beach The chef Costas is the best -and know to do food that correct to your special requests ( vegetarian ,diet food ) The amazing team of the food and beverage: Paula,Lina,foteini,Marko,savvas, It’s the best service I get ever in my life : With a lot of smile, warm and makes comfortable feeling. Beach right in front of the rooms. Room is nice, contains a tub. Food is great in the hotel, specially the sushi, the fishm and the Cretan salad. Staff friendly and helpful, provided taxi rides, and a place to shower in after the check-out.

Very modern and beautifully decorated rooms + pool/restaurant area. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy to access by public transport. A bit further from oldtown/city center, but we weren't planning on exploring Heraklion, so it was a perfect choice for us.

    A lovely quiet village up in the hills.

    A lovely quiet village up in the hills. Beautiful views and an abundance of pomegranate trees, cactus, butterflies, praying mantis and cats! Restaurants, shop, garage, and coffee shop in the village or close by. A car is needed if you want to visit beaches and populated areas. Beaches close by are lovely but busy at times. Supermarkets are 10-15mins away.
