EVERYTHING ! The staff is incredibly nice, the view is amazing especially in the evening during the sunset (try to get one of the balcony of the first floor). The breakfast 8h000-10h00 was soooo good ! Typical cakes (from the bakery !), homemade cake and orange juice, surprises every day (cakes change)... AND there are 4-5 cats coming to you in the garden (if you want them)... and you can pet them 😁 Not far from the city center, port, bus, and appolo site, and its good place to look at the sunset ! The room is really comfortable (they make beds everyday, and clean towels regularly), climatisation is really fast and powerful, a must have during summer 🥰 The WiFI is reliable and good, but the view outside is soo good that you won't use it ! We walked around Aegina and it is definitely one the the loveliest place to have a room.

The location is amazing, you can see the sea from the small balcony and you can hear the waves all night long. The room was as expected, spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities. Niko and the entire staff were extremely kind, and the food at their restaurant, right on the beach, was amazing every time we ate there. Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

April was too early to go to the beach and swim.

April was too early to go to the beach and swim. A few restaurants were open and a good supermarket with necessary items available. A short taxi drive 15eur to the Town of Aegina is recommended. No bus rides available at least in April. Souvala is a quiet place, but not too much to do.

Amazing location friendly and warm host and staff. A stay I would totally recommend if you are looking for something to ease your mind and enjoy the sounds of the ocean . The bohemian style combined with the traditional style of the room we stayed was a great way to enjoy our stay at the fullest. The host and his family were more than friendly and helpful to everything we needed and always ready to please us in anyway .Nice place to visit is Moni as u take a boat for perdika and you will be amazed by the scenery and crystal clear waters . We also enjoyed aigina as we mostly dined . Panta rei was a nice call day cafe-lunch -drinks were the staff is very friendly as well as the souvlaki place kipos in Shia marina was also good . The beach bar at marathona b beach was also a nice place to relax on the beachbeds at the beach and enjoy drinks or food .

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy...

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy beach to swim. There are some supermarkets and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Aegina town is approx. 20 min away by the bus (it costs 1.60 EUR) and only 2 times a day. Bus timetable is available in https://www.aeginaportal.gr/ktel.html

Small and quaint with small selection restaurants, hotels and a bakery. 2 beaches 1 with sand and beach bar, the other is where ferry ports and is small but with plenty of shade. You need a car to explore the island as souvala is very small

Souvala is a quiet little village and harbour but very pleasant for a short trip. We stayed just one night as a break from Athens and the ferry to Aegina Town was a relaxing way to arrive. Aegina Town is more sophisticated, but Souvala had a number of restaurants that looked good. The little beach was mainly used by local families and retired people so it was pretty quiet and had charm. We had a great brunch at the Azure Beach bar and would recommend Saronikos Restaurant for dinner - lovely food (try the local pistachio pesto) and wine - reasonable prices - and right next to the sea with a fantastic view.

The family-managed hotel Vrachokipos is a hidden gem on Aegina. We have been received and cared after in the sweetest way by the receptionist Roula and we enjoyed the estate so much that we even prolonged our stay. From Zen-Vibes, kitten babies and marvelous sea views, to deliciously prepared fresh breakfast trays, a private path to the sea and even a natural pool + a jungle sauna - the place had it all and went above all our expectations. Myself and my daughter had a fantastic stay at the Irides. The family run hotel has a warm and friendly feel, everyone is more than happy to help and give advice on day trips out,call taxis,recommendations on restaurants etc a short car ride from Aegina town with lots going on but the hotel itself is set back in a calm quiet location. The best of both! Thank you again!

I would say it is a 3+ star hotel not 2 as it is officially labeled The breakfast is excellent value for money though it is 75% similar each day (not a la carte or Swedish buffet) The restaurant is excellent compared to others on the island and prices are very good (4 persons we paid around 70-100 euro each time
