We loved Spartia, lovely a Greek village and everyone was really welcoming and helpful. You definitely need a car to get around. The beach was beautiful but too far for us to walk to in the heat. Andreas, the host, is simply amazing and we really appreciated the warm welcome, as well as his hospitality and kind support. The breakfast was brilliant and lunch and dinner were also available if wanted. The hotel is quite isolated and quiet with lovely views of the sea. We liked that but if you wanted to see the rest of the beautiful island, it’s best to hire a car which the hotel kindly arranged for us.
