Zagora is a lovely village, however, due to its location far away from Volos, as well as its harsh history during the years of the Turkish occupation, it is less 'touristy' and certainly not as picturesque as some of the other villages of the Pelion. There is definitely a 'ruggedness' to the village. I would recommend visiting Zagora for a day or two, and certainly seeing the library, the Ellinomuseio, and the four churches (Agia Paraskevi, Agua Kiriaki, Agios Georgios, Sotira). In the summer, it is also worth visiting Chorefto beach. The best months to visit Zagora weather-wise are from May to September. I visited for two weeks in late October - the average high was about 12°C and while it didn't rain it was cloudy 95% of the time.Guest review byChristinaCanada - 10.0

The room was large - as was the bathroom - and there was a spa bath which, unfortunately, we had no time to use. The hotel had its own parking spaces, which made a big difference. There was also an elevator which was great as we stayed on the third floor. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - and the breakfast was fantastic.
