It was a really beautiful and calm place to live. Very special. We did not see its equal while staying in Antigua, despite eating in the restaurants of other similar hotels.

This is a gem. One of our favorite places to stay over 4 months travel to Central America. The location is amazing, in a small town that sees very little tourism, at the foot of Attilan volcano and right on the lake. The grounds are gorgeous, with a lovely pool and fantastic organic garden and plenty of hammocks. The restaurant is fabulous, we loved everything we ate, from the well served breakfasts to tasty and fresh salads, soups and fish, with almost everything sourced in their own organic garden. The staff are all kind and helpful and very well trained (the waiters also double as guides for the hikes which is nice). There seems to be real pride in working here.

this is a beautiful and traditional hotel. the bed was comfy, the room was spacious and clean. the roof terrace is a highlight and having breakfast up there was lovely.

San Rafael is one of the most beautiful properties I have had the pleasure of staying at. The property is stunning in itself and kept so beautifully. The bed was luxurious and comfortable. The a la carte breakfast menu is an amazing touch and served in the beautiful open garden space is even more perfect.

Meson Panza Verde is a European-style property with lush gardens, an art gallery and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views. Antigua Guatemala's Central Park and Cathedral are 4 blocks away.
