We had the most wonderful time. The hosts were amazing, the place was clean and as described and they quickly resolved a hiccup with water heater- in a matter of an hour which is amazing. The location is near everything and we're probably coming back at some point. They are great people. I also love that they removed some hazards for our kiddo when we arrived which made it all even more relaxing. 10+ from us.

This city is ideal for families with children.

This city is ideal for families with children. Nice beaches - small pebbles, gradual access to the sea, azure sea, promenades around the sea, funny park for children. The disadvantage is that there are no historical monuments here. It gives the impression of being more of a tourist city without history. Therefore, it is advisable to visit other cities in the area - for example, Zadar, Šibenik.

Unlike many other destinations along the Croatian coast during peak season, prices here are quite reasonable – whether it’s for accommodation, dining in restaurants, or shopping in local stores. The beaches are not overly crowded, even in the busiest part of the season. There is plenty of natural shade, the water is clean, and the overall atmosphere is calm and family-friendly. Another thing that truly stands out is how kind and welcoming the local people are – from hosts to restaurant staff and shopkeepers, everyone made us feel at home.

We only stayed 2 nights as we were sailing out of the town. Very pretty and peaceful - like the best of Italian seaside towns but without the heaving crowds. Had a couple of good, reasonably priced evening meals - lots of fresh fish and seafood. Didn’t venture very far or use the beach but from what we saw there is not much sand, but the water is spectacular - crystal clear.

The beaches are fine, especially for children.

The beaches are fine, especially for children. There are quite a few sea urchins on the beaches, even very close to the shore. Along the road, you can often get very good local fruits and vegetables (figs, melons, watermelons, tomatoes, nectarines, peaches,...). They have a very unusual type of payment for natural attractions. For example, you pay €5 for the ornithological park, but you also get admission to a tour that is 20 minutes away by car. At the Reško slap, the access to the area is divided into three sections. You have to pay a different price for each one. Even access to the restaurant has to be paid for! The food in the restaurants is below average and, on top of that, very expensive. Garbage is lying everywhere. There is practically no separation of waste, or the garbage cans are just a formality. The garbage is all mixed up.

For the Dutch folks. It's Scheveningen but then in Croatia. Lot of restaurants, a stretch where you can walk through the harbour. Nice beach (rocks) and a sand beach not too far away. It was lovely for us.

We managed to check before the lunch - it was better for us this way because we prefer to travel during the night. Owner was really helpful to get our place ready at around 11:00 AM. We were in touch and communicated this before few days before our trip. Everything at place was as it is shown on the pictures. It is nice and cozy and quite big. It is really close to beach, close to center, close to shop. I do recommend this place. If I decide to go to Croatia next time I really consider to go again to this place :-) 10/10 Many thanks,

Very hospitable and helpful host. Apartment was new and kept very clean including the hallway and garden area. It was the extra touch, such as the lavender sachet, that made the difference. The beach was only a few meters’ walk and one can reach Biograd na Moru center, where most shops and restaurants are located, within 15-20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car. We would definitely recommend Residence Jonathan to family and friends visiting the Zadar region.

We had a room with a sea side view, but verz cozy and furbished with two chairs and a table. Hotel has a very good location, not far away from the city centre and close the Marina Kornati North. Nearby is a supermarket and open market where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables from a local producers.
