    We visited Buzet around 5pm in late July and it was...

    We visited Buzet around 5pm in late July and it was extremely quiet and a bit underwhelming with only 2 cafes open. Nearby towns are more lively and beautiful. However it is supposed to be buzzing in autumn for truffle season.

    Very nice town, lovely locals, food and local distillery products and tryouts of various drinks cocktails. We called the town of truffles as here it is plenty of them and you can taste even beer with truffles, cookies, salt, cheese, butter, oil, etc. Everything can be tryout with a flavor of truffle.

    We only stayed near Buzet (in Vrh) for 2 nights and it was...

    We only stayed near Buzet (in Vrh) for 2 nights and it was the perfect length. We relaxed at the pool on our property, and did a truffle hunting tour/experience which was the reason for our visit and it was fantastic. The food was amazing in this region.

    Very cosy apartment, high quality furnishings and equipment- modern and stylish but with a charm. Felt like home. Owner super nice and helpful! There are several condiments in the kitchen (pepper, salt, oil, vinaigrette) as well as everything you need to even do laundry and dishwashers. Possibility to park just outside but be careful when driving in Buzet as some streets are one way and narrow. Best is to park before the town gate.

    The location within the old city was perfect. The apartment is very well equipped, has a very comfortable bed, is quiet and within walking distance of all to see in Buzet. I highly recommend.
