It was very beautiful - the sea view is amazing. Staff goes out of their way to help. The pool outside is brilliant. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are free for guests and comfy. Staff is always there to help. SPA is out of this world, big big recommendation, just go and get yourself pampered in finnish or mild sauna, massage plunge pool, cold and warm shower with minty mist option, and enjoy a nice tea... Food is amazing, we were there on half board. So many choices, changes every day. Some pies even for breakfast, and a lot of local specials for dinner (e.g. fritule, kelj na padelu...) , delicious seafood options (squid, brudet, mijesana riba). Nice walk Lungo mare accessible from hotel, kids beach (Tomislavec?) is very close also. Great location if you want to be away from the city centre noise, but still close enough (15min walking) if you want to go to Park Angiolina or some show. Dog friendly!

My 10 points for all as it’s a really wonderful hotel! All was perfect, starting with hospitable check-in, accompanied with a glass of Prosecco, provided by charming Paola, continuing complimentary chocolates in the room and ending the general positive impressions from the Amadria and its services. We arrived really early (11 a.m.) but were given a nice corner room with a sea and patio view, equipped all necessary things (a cattle, free water, tea, coffee, robes for going to beach etc.)The hotel is the only one in Opatija with separate access to the sea. Swimming was very comfortable, deck chairs were convenient, we really enjoyed relaxing! The staff was very positive and helpful, thanks to Paola for early check-in and Anna-Marija for help in reserving a table at “Bevanda”. And special thanks for the souvenir after check-out! We will definitely come again!

The location of the hotel is absolutely exceptional in the city center. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room itself, including the equipment (e.g. quality radio station) is really beautiful and the view of the sea is breathtaking. Definitely recommend!

I'll confirm and repeat what the other guests have already shared so eloquently - this is a gorgeous, historic property, elegant and chic like Opatija itself. The fabulous location, clean and spacious rooms and fantastic food certainly offer a 5* experience. Still, what makes this lovely place stand out and come alive are the amazing girls - professional, helpful, friendly and incredibly charming!     The location of the resort is excellent, it is situated in a picturesque area, 5 minutes away from the beautiful Medveja beach. The historical town of Lovran is a 30 minute walk away (5-10 minutes by car). Rijeka is also just half an hour drive away. The breakfast was very good, but it was almost the same every day. Some of the members of the staff were always helpful and communicative. The room was very clean as well.

    We’d been wanting to camp in Croatia but coming from US we usually stay in apartments or hotels. This was perfect. All the items we couldn’t bring with us were there but we were at the beach in a campground. We met other travelers and really were able to relax. Thank you for this wonderful time!
