The beach is not sandy but amazing! If you book a sea-view room, the view is amazing! The view is also perfect from the terrace! The breakfast is excellent! All the staff made the stay perfect, and Iriana and Kamilla's performances were extraordinary! Worth staying here again, definitely!

The hotel is spotless.Rooms nice and had a lovely view from our balcony.Very good breakfast nice choice all very fresh. The lady owner and her assistant were helpful and made us very welcome. The buses into split were every 30 mins stopping 2 mins from the hotel

If you wish to keep away from the big hotel chains and stay in a small independent hotel with a personal touch that only such hotels can give then the San Antonio is for you.From the moment you arrive you receive a warm welcome and our room was kindly upgraded to a twin sea view room with a fantastic view of islands..Our room which was decorated tastefully as is the rest of the hotel and was cleaned every day .The breakfast provided was homely and more than adequate to start a day sightseeing and served to the table by one of the most welcoming and hard working restaurant managers I have met who was eager to please every request made.The central location of this hotel is so good.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Lucijana is incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though we arrived late, she greeted us with a warm smile and immediately asked if we had something for breakfast, knowing that all the shops would be closed for Easter. When she heard we didn’t, she and her lovely mother offered to prepare breakfast for us — such a heartwarming gesture! She even asked what we would like to eat. Her sweet mother brought the breakfast right to our room early in the morning, just as we had planned. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, and the view from the balcony is amazing! Parking the car safely inside the courtyard was also a huge plus. We are truly grateful to Lucijana and her wonderful family for making us feel so cared for. We only wish we could have stayed longer — we would have loved to try the fish her father prepared! Thank you so much for everything — we hope to return one day!

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants...

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. We visited KIRKA National Park, Skradin, Trogir, Zadar and Split itself all of which I would definitely recommend visiting we did all this in a week and it just about right.

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then...

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.

Podstrana is probably over crowded in high summer, but it was pretty empty in May when people prefer to stay in Split. We found it a perfect balance - 30 minutes to Dioclesian's Palace by bus, with a return costing €2.50 (with the Promet Split App), yet with properties right by the beach. The place is quiet in May (and I assume totally closed in winter), which is good, but for example we had trouble finding anything to eat on Sunday afternoon, with shops closed. People are really friendly and it seems the whole of Dalamatia is relatively safe.

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8)...

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8) runs through Podstrana so it can be quite busy at times. However there are some really nice places to eat such as Hotel Eden and restaurant Arkada, both of which are mid-price range (but expensive if you have wine), but worth a visit at least once. Less expensive local eateries are about, but we were only there for 3 nights and made the most of it. There are several supermarkets along the main road for groceries etc. Most of the "beach" area appears to be pebbly/rocky, although we did not explore very far from our hotel. There is a main bus route through Podstrana which links it with Split centre. Due to personal circumstances we did not venture very far so are unable to rate other possible attractions in the town.

Najbolji objekat sa najboljim uslovima.Sve cisto,lijepo i mirise.Apartman na samoj plaži,sve novo u apartmanu. Plaza cista i uredna U sklopu cijene imate bukvalno sve,samo ponesite licne stvari. Domacini su vise nego ljubazni i vode racuna da gostu nista ne nedostaje. Hrana ukusna i veoma dobar i velik izbor. Rado cu se opet vratiti u ovaj objekat koji zaslužuje najvisu ocjenu . Spent 3 nights at Hotel Eden which was very good, upgraded to room with sea view on arrival, comfy bed. Breakfast was very nice. Nice sun loungers...outdoor pool was cold...in shade! sea was warmer. There is an indoor heated pool. Access to sea...walk left at sea for better pebbled beach & nice restaurants in port area. Staff were lovely, would highly recommend for few days. Bus stop outside hotel, 25 mins to Split centre.

Super! 😊 2 other bedrooms and a day room were great and very clean 😊 very good localization, near to beach in Podstrana and Camping Split in Stobreć 😃 we haven't go to up (near to the mountains) to the willa, because the way is very easy and straight 🙂 the owner of this willa is very nice ☺️ we want to come back next year 😊

Nice, quiet area. Near to the beach (15-20min walk) Enough big apartement for 3 people We liked also the balkony. Nice view from the living room to the mountains and split. Podstrana is a lovely city near to split and omis, but the traffic is crazy.

The location in Podstrana was good. Easy and cheap bus ride into Split. The back of the Hotel is right on the Esplanade. Our cleaner and the cook/chef were friendly, very efficient & spoke excellent English!
