The town of Supetar, the island of Brac and the country of Croatia were all great places to visit. But I will never visit any of them again unless Croatia leaves the Shengen area because no power-crazy control freak bureaucrats are taking my fingerprints and retaining them which is what is required by the EU's EES scheme. Supetar was great for a relaxing coffee and ice cream by the harbour and has useful supermarkets for a self-catering holiday. Along the coast there are several small coves and pebbly beaches for swimming. very picturesque, nice buildings. But kind of dead compared to mediterrenean resorts. Most things close by 11 pm. and very expensive with all restaurants appliying simlilar high pricing. Supetar is a very pretty town with a ferry port. It has a beautiful marina with many good eating establishments and some lovely walks around the coast. Overall a lovely place to visit and stay. The host was extremely friendly and took great care of us. The bed was very comfortable – our two-year-old slept even better there than at home :D They have a baby cot, just ask for it. Our room was always clean and our beds were always made up and we had clean towels every day. Breakfast was good for its value.
