This is the perfect getaway! It is so quiet and peaceful amongst the rice paddies in a lovely rural area. The host family is awesome! Ari and Sindi were so welcoming and went above and beyond what we expected. They went on an evening walk with me, pointing out the plants and crops. The following day, we were invited to attend a Hindu temple ceremony with Ari and his family. What an amazing opportunity this was for us. Ari organised hire bikes for us. The bungalows are beautiful, clean, large with lovely decor. The semi open bathroom was clean. The view is straight out to the rice paddies where you can see the farmers at work. The meals were delicious and fresh and well priced. The fresh juices were the best we have had so far! Sindi introduced me to soursop juice, which was delicious. Special mention to Riski, who always had a big smile!

We were lucky to stay at 'Ubud Bed and Breakfast' hotel before sailing to Nusa Penida. Everything is new, clean, so neat. Very large and comfortable bathroom, comfortable mattress on the bed. The air conditioner is perfectly working. In the morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast - nasi goreng and homemade orange juice. We ate on the second floor and looked at the beautiful tiled roofs. Wonderful place and so hospitable hosts! Thank you!!

wow! highly recommend this place to solo travellers or people wanting to escape the tourists and experience the authentic Balinese culture. the village is very traditional and beautiful. there’s a small river close by which is the perfect setting for walks. there’s plenty of temples and waterfalls close by too along with rafting (highly recommend). Coki, her husband, her brothers and family are so welcoming. I originally booked only 2 nights as I wasn’t sure and within 2 hours of being there I extended another 2 nights. I ended up staying here for 1 week and then I moved to accommodation down the rd as I wanted to stay longer but Telagamas was booked out. I was invited to family ceremony’s and bdays, karaoke and dinner, they took me to waterfalls, local markets and a nearby traditional village. I seriously had the most amazing time!!

Very warm welcome and staff. The kitchen staff is also amazing, creating amazing breakfasts which you can enjoy overlooking the rice fields and with soothing music playing in the background, putting you in a perfect relaxed state to go out and enjoy your day. A special shout out to my friend Komang, who was kind enough to deliver a plate of freshly cut fruits to the room at request around 10pm. If you're looking for a beautiful secluded retreat to refill your battery, in the midst of rice fields and not too far from Ubud centre, this is the place you're looking for! 💫 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
