We had just such an amazing time at Vogelkopf Resort! The hosts have been so friendly that we felt part of a family. They organized day trips, dive trips and the ferry back to sorong. They cooked three meals per day for us and always asked if we need more or if we have enough. We have been on our honeymoon and they also upgraded us to a water bungalow with AC and an amazing view. One of the best things at Vogelkopf is truly the jetty - everyday we walked couple of rounds on the jetty to see sharks, turtles, big fish and even dolphins - perfect for people who like to see animals in their natural habitat.

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! A. Perfect stay, a toilet, shower, clean water villas with AC, and coral reef at the jetty

I choosed this Hotel for my last nights in Raja Ampat, because there is AC, Wifi and it's close to the ferry port. Room was great! Bed comfortable, AC works great, nice view from the terrace. Wifi stable. All staff members were super friendly, nice and helpful. Food was amazing, best I had in RA. They even did my laundry for free. The beach is a dream and near the jetty from another Resort close by, there are amazing corals, very good snorkeling opportunities. Area is secluded, very quiet, just a few other Homestays, nice kids all around. Tours to Kali Biru or Birds of paradise are available. I can not say thank you enough for these great days.

The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Raflow Resort for 5 nights and we’ve had a lovely time! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff will go the extra mile to make sure you have a fabulous and memorable stay in paradise. If you let them know what activities you would like to do, they will organize it for you. The food is phenomenal; everyday there is a selection of fresh fish, chicken, rice, various vegetables and fresh fruit. The rooms are clean and comfortable (soft bed, hot shower, spacious) and the AC is a real plus, we didn’t encounter any mosquitos. Overall a great place to stay a couple nights to explore Waigeo!

We enjoyed our stay at Amfriwen. The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

Aldejus homestay was a super positive experience for us. The bungalows are super nice: a great bed with a good mosquito net, warm water shower (which is rare!!) and a comfortable toilet. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious for the homestays. The town near Aldejus was nice to visit, the beach beautiful. The food was delicious every meal, freshly cooked with variation. The people were super friendly, helpful and accommodating (the cute dogs were a perk). We could buy beer, coconuts and soft drinks for very reasonable prices. We did our diving with Tarzan diving, which is a 10min boat ride away (a lovely commute). Overall: we loved Aldejus and would definitely come back, a 100% recommend!!

Good experience at all. Wonderful dives, good food, and a wonderful and superkind staff always ready for you. Just two problems (but no resort's responsibility): the house reef Is not in a good condition in its shallow part, many corals are dead, and a lot of rubbish sometimes comes along with the current and makes snorkeling unpleasant, though the staff makes a wonderful job to keep the.beach super clean.
