Heaven on earth. The rooms are exquisite, new and very well equipped. Just overall, unbelievable. Waking up here recharged our batteries. Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Coriana was a great resort. The over water bungalow was beautiful and was very comfortable with A/C (that actually works), hot water and Wi-Fi. The staff were great particularly Nona in the restaurant and the young man at the front desk (unfortunately we didn’t catch his name). The food was delicious and plentiful. We were initially hesitant to book based on some of the reviews here that spoke about loud karaoke. While there is a resort right next to Coriana, during our stay the place was perfectly peaceful and tranquil, so much so we extended our stay. Also the lights at the end of the resort onto the water allow hours of entertainment to watch the fish at night on the house reef.

I spent a wonderful week here, every minute was an experience. Every single employee is incredibly kind and helpful, the area is beautiful. I would come back anytime without a second thought! Thank you everyone

The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Raflow Resort for 5 nights and we’ve had a lovely time! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff will go the extra mile to make sure you have a fabulous and memorable stay in paradise. If you let them know what activities you would like to do, they will organize it for you. The food is phenomenal; everyday there is a selection of fresh fish, chicken, rice, various vegetables and fresh fruit. The rooms are clean and comfortable (soft bed, hot shower, spacious) and the AC is a real plus, we didn’t encounter any mosquitos. Overall a great place to stay a couple nights to explore Waigeo!

The homestay is really nice! It’s by the beach and you have lots of corals just in front. The food is excellent :) The family is very welcoming and nice I highly recommend :)

Destin and Ina were great hosts. Food was great, location awesome with great snorkeling right there. Running shower and toilet was an added bonus.

Fabulous location close to dive sites. Dive masters were professional and friendly. Shout out to Ronaldo and Herman. All staff were very hard working and very caring. Yaasiel took care of our arrangements whilst there. Bella and Jolee were delightful. Arson and his boat crew handled our trip to boarding the ferry. Food was plentiful and DELICIOUS!! Cottage was clean and comfortable. (Apologies if the spelling of names is incorrect)
