I booked this homestay last minute and I couldn’t have found a more perfect place. The room is absolutely gorgeous with a picturesque few and a lot of space. The hot shower was an amazing surprise and since it can get quite cold in Berastagi much needed. The best thing about the homestay is the owner, she’s so friendly and invited me to meet her friends. It was lovely and I will recommend this place to everybody!

My stay here was one of the best on my entire trip to Indonesia! I had originally only booked one night but ended up staying 3 nights because I felt so comfortable. And that's mainly thanks to the incredibly nice host family. I have never been so warmly welcomed in an accommodation before. You almost felt like a member of the family. I experienced such incredible hospitality and helpfulness that I would have loved to stay much longer! If I come back to Sumatra one day, I will definitely stay here again. The room was very basic but perfectly adequate and clean. And with all the hospitality, it was also easy to cope with the cold shower ;)

I line with all Red Doorz, good value, easy to use accommodation. Bring your own food, they have tables and a balcony upstairs where you can eat. Good parking space. It was perfect for us with kids as it is only 500 metres from the Amazing Mickie Funland. I would recommend Funland to anyone with kids - and such a great price.
