Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, with a spotless and well-maintained bathroom. The breakfast was a highlight—highly recommend trying the noodles, pancakes, and, of course, the coffee! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring North Bali, and one of the best parts is that you can walk to the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfalls. A special thank you to Agus, the hotel’s driver, who made our trip even smoother with reliable transfers. He speaks English well, drives safely, and offers fair prices—highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Staying at D’Kailash Retreat was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. The wooden bungalows are simple but really comfy, with good mattresses and everything you need to feel at home. Waking up to those amazing views every morning was a dream—pure peace and quiet. What really makes the place special, though, are the owners. They’re genuinely kind, welcoming and the sweetest ever! We had an unforgettable stay in this truly unique location, nestled in the heart of Bali’s most stunning natural surroundings. The accommodation is small and wonderfully peaceful, with beautifully crafted bamboo-style rooms that offer both charm and comfort. The pool is a lovely spot to relax, perfectly complementing the serene atmosphere. What really sets this place apart, however, is the incredibly warm and attentive staff. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. A particularly touching gesture was when one of the staff members drove all the way back home to fetch traditional clothing for us, so we could attend a Hindu ceremony at a nearby family temple—an experience we’ll never forget. They are also an invaluable source of local knowledge, able to connect you with the very best guides if you’re interested in learning about Balinese customs and history, or if you simply want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Sekumpul. The area is breathtaking, with terraced rice fields, lush, aromatic vegetation filled with herbs and fruits, and of course, the magnificent waterfalls that are nothing short of awe-inspiring. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly—it’s a hidden gem and a perfect retreat for those seeking a genuine and enriching Bali experience.

    Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

    I had an excelent time in Pondok Apsari, the view was everything you could've imagine when you want to have a peaceful holiday. It is such a bliss swimming in the pool while watching the sun sets behind the paddy fields.You can even see the sea when there sky is clear. The staff's very helpfull and friendly. The cabin is very clean and comfy and the location is not far if you want to experience Singaraja. It's everything you could hope for in a place to stay.
