We stayed for five nights as we were attending a family wedding nearby and we absolutely loved our stay. Staff could not have been friendly or more helpful and the location was magnificent and it was handy to get into Tipp town for essentials. The lodge had plenty of space and spectacular views and was comfy and cosy. It was great value for money. Lodges Probably need some minor aesthetic touch ups in places but nothing major. The bar in the main hotel was really lovely and welcoming and well kept. We loved our time here and would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our shortstay at Shadowvale, the room was very comfortable and and our host welcoming and the breakfast was great. Excellent loctaion within the Glen of Aherlow and easy access to Cahir with it's pubs and restaurants.

The cabin was in a beautifully remote spot, off the grid that allowed for zero distractions. The bed was perfect, not only the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in but was fitted with an array of blankets that ensured that you didn’t want for more. The view was gorgeous and we visited Galbally village that held everything we needed for our stay. The board games provided were a godsend on a rainy night in. A beautiful tranquil place to say. The professionalism from all the staff was second to none. The food was absolutely lovely. The rooms were lovely and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. A big shout out to the night porter Shelly for her friendliness and work ethic, she really is a fantastic worker.

    Aherlow has wonderful scenery.

    Aherlow has wonderful scenery. The statue of Christ The King in the Galtee Mountains is one of my favourite places. Aherlow House Hotel is in a great position. Staff are very professional and helpful. However the lack of a lift to the Bedrooms is a disadvantage for elderly people - this should be rectified. Breakfast was adequate but the lack of fruit on our last morning was disappointing (as was the 35min delay on another morning!)

    The view from Aherlow is spectacular!

    The view from Aherlow is spectacular! The bar/restaurant and deck is really nice to get a meal, drink, or just view. Overall the hotel is a bit outdated with no elevator or air conditioning (luckily the weather was perfect). The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room as nice; the drive up was a bit treacherous with the narrow road, but we managed. We only stayed one night which was perfect.

    We didn’t realize that they have several hiking trails with beautiful views. Would have loved to try one, time wouldn’t allow. The food in the lounge was wonderful and the servers were very attentive.

    Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't like the dark dreary No. 206 twin room and having to carry our hand luggage up two flights of steep stairs as there is no lift. Hotel needs modernisation and a makeover

    Just outstanding!!

    Just outstanding!! Location is breathtaking with a fab view of the Glen and the Galtee mountains. Staff were very friendly from start to finish. The only downside was there was no lift, so if you are impaired in any way request a room downstairs. Food was absolutely delicious aswell.

    Fantastic location, views and surrounding area superb. Lodge accommodation and facilities excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, responded to questions pre visit.     A great hotel in a fantastic location. Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to look after us; we had a superb view from our room and there are some lovely walks right on the doorstep.
